Wins the Race

now in salt figures it is told
between lines of the border
with arms i watch him walk
west of our invention
get it done in divisionless labor
or spare the time of quiet game
and to be professed at failure
in the old ways it was true
to be of service on roads of
choices like somehow we learn
occupation in our heart’s revolt
gave anthem to unvoiced history
here, any decision to make it seems
here like not other way should be
