When We Listen to Hockey Moms

i learned the truth at seventeen
god loves a working economy
darn gone in the mystic down
in water women’s throats drown
mispronounce those mavericks of
exeptionialism in new reckoning
i heard the blood of folksy smirks
destined to manifest from reformation
shout out across straits of melting ice
when counts one man and one woman
lonely planets of dust bowl truckers
circle eugenic stars of nuclear families
on our side this paranoid surging sea
stemmed on the sands of believers
